"McCaffrey returns for his age-29 season eyeing a bounce-back after an injury-plagued 2024 that limited him to three full games. McCaffrey wasn't even his usual, elite self during those weeks (13.0 fantasy PPG), though he did play 88% of the snaps and average 18.7 touches per game. Prior to the 2024 debacle, McCaffrey had finished six straight seasons ranked in the top 5 among RBs in fantasy PPG and he remains positioned for feature back duties in a good 49ers offense. There's obvious risk here considering the injury woes and age, but in weeks he's active McCaffrey will be an elite fantasy option."

"Seattle dominated time of possession, limiting San Francisco to only 42 offensive plays. That limited volume for all of their skill-position players, including McCaffrey. Even when he did get touches, McCaffrey was stifled by the elite Seahawks defense, with his longest gain from scrimmage going for only nine yards. Despite the disappointing close, McCaffrey concludes the regular season with an excellent 2,126 yards from scrimmage and 17 total touchdowns."

"Since stepping into a starting role in Week 8 of the 2023 season, McBride has an enormous 28.4% target share (9.0 per game). He averaged 6.8 receptions, 69.3 yards and 15.4 fantasy points per game during the span. He was the poster boy for bad TD luck in 2024, totaling three scores (two receiving) despite finishing second at the position in targets, catches, yards, end zone targets (10) and fantasy points. McBride's TE-high 7.9 expected TD total speaks to his bad luck and, though he also didn't score much in 2023 (three TDs on 108 targets), he's a candidate for a big improvement in the area in 2025. McBride is a strong bet to lead all tight ends in fantasy points."

"Fresh off setting a new league record for catches by a tight end in a single season last week, McBride shifted his focus on Sunday to the league lead in receptions for all position players. Arizona's star tight end entered Week 18 in a tie for first place with Rams wideout Puka Nacua, but it was the latter who finished the contest with more receptions and first-place honors. McBride's 126 grabs across 17 starts were still good enough to earn second place, finishing one catch ahead of Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase this regular season. The 25-year-old McBride corrected the red-zone woes that plagued him early in his career (six TDs in first three seasons) with a whopping 11 trips to the end zone in 2025. The breakout fantasy star accomplished all of this while catching passes from two different starting quarterbacks, so expect McBride to remain productive in 2026 whether it is Kyler Murray, Jacoby Brissett or another signal-caller under center for Arizona."
