"Croskey-Merritt was selected by Washington in the seventh round after spending six seasons at the collegiate level. After four seasons at Alabama State, he had his breakout season at New Mexico in 2023 prior to appearing in only one game in 2024. Croskey-Merritt is an older back with limited recent playing time, but he posted elite efficiency in 2023 and showed so well during the offseason that Washington shipped lead rusher Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers in August. Despite being a late-round pick and the presence of passing-down specialist Austin Ekeler, "Bill" has a legitimate shot to lead Washington's backfield as a rookie, which presents plenty of fantasy appeal. He should be on your radar in the middle rounds."

"Croskey-Merritt couldn't find any running lanes against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league Sunday. The seventh-round rookie still led Washington's backfield in touches, but he ceded a short rushing touchdown to backup Chris Rodriguez (3-12-1). It is unclear whether Jayden Daniels (hamstring) or Marcus Mariota will be under center for next Monday's tilt against the Chiefs, but Croskey-Merritt figures to continue spearheading the Commanders' backfield rotation in Week 8."

He ran a TE-best 4.63 40 (107 speed score) at the combine. Ferguson could be the starter in Los Angeles as soon as 2026, but in the meantime he'll battle Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen for snaps behind starter Tyler Higbee. Ferguson is not on the 2025 fantasy radar."	"The Oregon product showcased some of the talent that led to the Rams using a second-round pick on him in the fourth quarter, burning past safety Andrew Wingard and securing a fourth down pass from Matthew Stafford for a touchdown.
