"Mattison signed with the Dolphins, but a neck injury will cost him the entire 2025 season. This, after he failed to lock down lead back duties in Minnesota in 2023 and Las Vegas last season. Mattison had a few solid outings in 2024 (four games with 15-plus fantasy points), but he was limited to a situational role most of the year, only clearing 11 touches five times. Mattison's yards per carry plummeted to an ugly 3.2 last season and, while he's capable as a rusher and receiver (30-plus catches two season in arow), he's yet to show he's anything more than a competent backup. The 27-year-old will look to make a comeback in 2026."

"Winston signed with the Giants after spending his first 10 NFL seasons with the Buccaneers, Saints and Browns. He's primarily been a backup and spot-starter over the past five seasons, but he made seven straight starts in relief of injured Deshaun Watson last season. The result was what you expect from Winston, as he had his share of big plays (both good and bad) and ended up with 12 pass TDs and 12 INTs. Winston is likely to back up Russell Wilson and perhaps rookie Jaxson Dart this season. If called upon to start, he may add some big-play opportunities for the team's pass catchers, but will be no more than a desperation streaming option in deep leagues."


"Winston kept the Giants competitive in both of his starts while Dart was unavailable, though New York ultimately lost by one score to the Packers in Week 11 and in overtime to the Lions in Week 12. Across those two games, Winston completed 37 of 65 pass attempts for 567 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed seven times for 23 yards and another score. While Winston will now revert to the bench, bumping Russell Wilson down to the No. 3 role, he remains a high-upside backup stash in fantasy formats that allow multiple starting quarterbacks."
