"Montgomery is entering his seventh NFL season, including his third with Detroit. Jahmyr Gibbs' running mate played 13 full games last season, averaging 16.3 touches and 16.5 fantasy points per game. He had one of the highest floors in fantasy, posting at least 12.6 points in all but one of the outings. Montgomery's ceiling will be limited as long as Gibbs is in the mix, but he handles a solid workload as a rusher, including near the goal line (he's finished exactly fourth with 17 carries inside the 5 each of the last two seasons), and he saw a boost in receiving work last season (2.8 targets per game). Montgomery is now 28 years old and could cede a few more touches to Gibbs this season, but he's finished 16th or better in fantasy PPG each of the last two years and is a good bet to remain on the RB2/flex radar again in 2025."

"Montgomery returned from an MCL injury he suffered in Week 15, and the Lions attempted to get him involved early by giving him three carries across their first two offensive possessions. However, he was ultimately out-touched by Jahmyr Gibbs 20-7 and played a minor role in the offense. Despite the disappointing close, Montgomery enjoyed a strong second season in Detroit, tallying 12 touchdowns while averaging 4.2 yards per carry across 15 games. He remains under contract with the team and will likely be back in 2025 to complement Gibbs."

"Outside of his four-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter, it was another forgettable performance for the veteran tight end. The four snaps that Parkinson played in the divisional round was the least of any of the Rams' tight ends, and the first year of his three year, $22.5 million dollar contract with the Rams has turned out to be mostly a bust. Signed to be the starter while Tyler Higbee recovered from a torn ACL and MCL, Parkinson didn't hold the starting job long, slipping into a three-way timeshare with Davis Allen and Hunter Long before Higbee's return made it a four-way split in snaps. Parkinson finished the season with a modest 30-294-1 receiving line and will almost certainly fall behind Higbee on the depth chart to begin the 2025 campaign."
