"Gibson is back for his sixth NFL season and his second in New England. He spent most of his first season with the Patriots as a change-of-pace option behind lead back Rhamondre Stevenson. He did see additional work in the final three weeks of the season, though that was a direct result of Stevenson's fumbling woes. Despite the late-season boost, Gibson cleared 12 touches in only two games and never exceeded 12.2 fantasy points in a single game. The 27-year-old has seen his fantasy PPG mark dip each season of his career and hasn't finished better than 30th in the category since 2021. There's a new, run-friendly coaching staff in New England, but Gibson is now third on the depth chart behind Stevenson and second-round rookie TreVeyon Henderson. Gibson shouldn't be drafted."

"Benson is entering his second season after playing a minimal role as a rookie. The 2024 third-round pick never truly pushed James Conner for work and instead was limited to 69 touches in 13 games while sharing change-of-pace duties with Emari Demercado. Benson was effective (4.6 YPC, 2.1 YAC), and though it's logical to expect a larger role in his second season, Conner remains the team's lead back after signing an extension in November. Benson won't have standalone value early on, but he's an intriguing insurance target considering Conner is entering his age-30 season having never played a full regular season."


"Benson operated as the unquestioned lead back in the Cardinals' first game without James Conner (IR, foot), but he finished with two fewer carries than in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the 49ers. Benson did record a season high in receptions and outpaced No. 2 back Emari Demercado by six carries, but game script conspired to afford him almost as much pass-catching work as rushing volume.
