"Brooks will miss the entire 2025 season. The 2024 second-round pick spent most of his rookie year recovering from a torn ACL suffered while at Texas. He returned in Week 12 and handled 12 touches in three games prior to re-tearing the same ACL. Only 22-years-old and skilled as both a rusher and receiver, Brooks figures to eventually get his shot at a lead back role in the pros. He's likely to enter 2026 fully healthy and in a competition with Chuba Hubbard and Trevor Etienne in the Carolina backfield. Brooks should remain on dynasty rosters."


"Players can return from the PUP list when placed on it at the start of training camp or before Week 1, but not if they get the designation this early in the offseason. Brooks tore the ACL in his right knee each of the past two years, bringing his college career to an early conclusion and then limiting his rookie season to three games. The Panthers took him in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 46th overall, but they'll now move forward with Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle and Trevor Etienne as the main candidates to take carries in 2025."

"Schultz is eyeing a rebound in 2025 after he followed up four consecutive top-12 fantasy campaigns with a 20th-place finish (28th in PPG) in 2024. Schultz posted a productive 59-635-5 receiving line in 15 games in 2023 (his first season in Houston), but saw his usage dip last season despite ranking fourth among tight ends in pass routes. He became a nonfactor near the goal line, totaling two end zone targets and two TDs, both of which are his fewest since taking on a regular offensive role in 2020. His history suggests a return to the fringe-TE1 mix is possible, and he could see a slight boost in targets with Christian Kirk and a pair of rookies set to replace Stefon Diggs (free agency) and Tank Dell (knee), but he also could lose work to second-year TE Cade Stover. Schultz doesn't have much late-round appeal."

Stroud (pectoral), Schultz is competing for targets in a crowded pass-catching corps led by Nico Collins. Houston acquired veteran slot receiver Christian Kirk via a trade with Jacksonville this offseason, then added wideouts Jayden Higgins in the second round of the 2025 Draft and Jaylin Noel in the third round. Schultz remains entrenched as the starting tight end, but his ceiling is capped as either the third or fourth option in Houston's passing game."
