"Loop's leg wasn't challenged Saturday, as he chipped in field goals from 22 and 34 yards in the second quarter. It was the ninth time that the rookie sixth-rounder connected on at least two field goals in a game this season. Since the Ravens' Week 7 bye, Loop has gone 20-for-22 on field-goal attempts (with both misses coming from 50-plus yards) and 26-for-27 on extra-point tries."

"Williams is entering his second NFL season with hopes for a leap forward under new head coach and playcaller Ben Johnson. The 2024 No. 1 pick had a few big games (22-plus fantasy points five times), but way too many major duds (nine games with fewer than 12 points) during his first season. Efficiency was an issue (outside of the top 35 in QBR, YPA and completion %) and he took a league-high 68 sacks, but he got experience (QB2 in dropbacks), avoided INTs (seven) and added value with his legs (seventh at QB in carries, rush yards and YPC). With Johnson designing the offense, a much-improved interior offensive line and a good supporting cast led by DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III, Williams has no excuses as he enters a critical Year 2. He's safest when drafted as a fringe QB1, but he has a very high ceiling."

"Williams couldn't lead the Bears to any points in the first three quarters, but he helped Chicago's offense come alive in the fourth to make things interesting. Williams particularly had his connection with rookie tight end Colston Loveland clicking, as the latter was on the receiving end of 10 of Williams' completions, 91 receiving yards and one of his two touchdowns, from one yard out. Williams also connected with Jahdae Walker from 25 yards out early in the fourth quarter, finishing with a pair of TD tosses for the fifth straight game to close out the campaign. Williams undeniably took a step forward in his first season under the tutelage of head coach Ben Johnson while throwing for 3,942 yards and posting a 27:7 TD:INT, but he'll need to achieve more quarter-to-quarter consistency for the Bears to succeed in the postseason beginning with next weekend's home wild-card matchup against the Packers."

"Fidone was selected by the Giants in the seventh round of April's draft. He has the biggest hands and longest arms in this TE class. He shined at the combine with excellent showings in the broad jump (126), three cone (7.01) and short shuttle (4.29). His collegiate receiving efficiency wasn't especially good (career 7.0 YPR and 3.9 RAC), but he has some abilities in that area. He has potential as a two-way TE in the pros, but he'll begin his career as a depth option."

"The rookie tight end from Nebraska upgraded from limited practice participation Thursday to a full-go Friday, suggesting he's moved past his foot injury in time to play Sunday. Now back at full health, expect Fidone to contribute primarily on special teams in Week 10."

"Herbert had 12 carries to Kene Nwangwu's seven as the Jets played without Breece Hall (knee) after placing Isaiah Davis (concussion) on injured reserve Saturday. Prior to Sunday's season finale, Herbert had just four carries for 10 yards and no catches all season. The 27-year-old running back isn't expected to garner much interest in free agency, though Herbert may land a depth role somewhere."
