"Taylor was selected by the Jets in the second round of April's draft. He posted poor marks in YPT (7.2) and YPRR (1.20) across his 38 collegiate games, but Jason's son did catch 36-plus passes in all three seasons. Taylor is one of the youngest (21) tight ends in this class and may require some development, but he's also well positioned for a sizable Year 1 role with Jeremy Ruckert as his top competition for the starting job, not to mention the Jets' lack of depth at wide receiver. It wouldn't be a shock if Taylor finished 2025 second to only Garrett Wilson in targets, so even in what will be a low-volume passing game with Justin Fields under center, Taylor is a fine late-round dart throw in deeper leagues."

"Taylor, who last saw game action Week 14, thus will target a potential return to action in the Jets' season finale next weekend when the team faces the Bills in Week 18. In Taylor's continued absence, Jeremy Ruckert, Stone Smartt and Jelani Woods will handle TE duties versus New England. "St. Brown enters his fifth NFL campaign as the only player in the league with 105 or more receptions each of the past three seasons. Compared to 2023, St. Brown actually saw a decrease in targets, receptions and yards last season, but offset some of that with a career-high 12 touchdowns and still finished as the No. 3 fantasy WR for the second year in a row. He remains an elite, short-range target, having paced qualified wide receivers in catch rate (81%) in 2024 and having now ranked top 5 in first downs per route run for the third year in a row. The 25-year-old is a heavily utilized target in one of the league's best offenses and a clear top-5 fantasy wide receiver."

"St. Brown shook off a questionable designation due to a knee injury and put together one of his best performances of the season, as he was targeted early and often by Jared Goff. The star receiver comfortably paced the Lions in receptions, receiving yards and targets, recording his second-highest tallies of the season in the first and third categories in the process. St. Brown is essentially blameless in Detroit's surprising failure to reach the postseason, as the 2021 fourth-round pick recorded 117 receptions for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns and added three carries for nine yards across 17 games. St. Brown will naturally serve as a centerpiece of the Lions' air attack again in 2026."
