"Coker is entering his second NFL season after impressing as an undrafted free-agent signing in 2024. Coker stepped into a substantial offensive role in Week 5 and his route participation cleared 50% in each of his next 10 games. He handled a 16% target share (4.6 per game) from that point forward and averaged 9.3 fantasy PPG. He did nearly all of his damage with Adam Thielen or Xavier Legette sidelined, but did flash at times nonetheless, reaching 14 fantasy points three times. Coker will open 2025 on IR and, even when he returns, he'll be behind first-round pick Tetairoa McMillan and Legette on the depth chart. Despite his strong showing as a rookie UDFA, he's not worth drafting."

"Panthers head coach Dave Canales said Coker has a "serious quad strain," per Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer. While the second-year wideout's placement on IR allows him to retake the field after a minimum of only four games, it sounds like his return could be postponed until as late as Week 7 against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 19. With Carolina also having traded Adam Thielen to Minnesota, the team inked veteran wideout Hunter Renfrow to the active roster Saturday to help provide depth behind Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) and Xavier Legette."
