"Mumpfield was selected by the Rams in the seventh round of April's draft. He's on the small side (186 pounds, short arms and small hands) and didn't show much top speed at the combine (4.59 40), but otherwise performed well, including a class-high 23 bench reps. He'll battle for a depth role behind target hogs Puka Nacua and Davante Adams."

"The seventh-round pick out of Pittsburgh had a fairly quiet rookie year, finding a modest amount of playing time as a backup but never really gaining much momentum on the stat sheet. Mumpfield finished the regular season with a 10-92-1 line on 23 targets, ahead of only Blake Corum's 36 receiving yards. Mumpfield will get his first taste of the NFL postseason on Saturday, as the Rams travel to Carolina for a wild-card showdown."
