"It was more of the same for Mevis, who has been rock solid since taking over the starting kicker role from Joshua Karty in Week 10. Over his nine games as the starter, Mevis was a perfect 39-for-39 on extra-point tries and 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts, with the lone miss a costly one in overtime against the Seahawks in Week 16. Despite the lone blemish on his record, Mevis has proven to be a reliable option at kicker for the Rams, something they've sorely lacked since the departure of Matt Gay after the 2022 season. The Rams likely will extend a contract offer to Mevis, an exclusive-rights free agent, after the playoffs, but for now he'll prepare for a wild-card round showdown against the Panthers on Saturday."

"Sanders is headed into his second NFL season following a solid rookie campaign in which he played 55% of Carolina's offensive snaps. He flashed a bit while playing an expanded role when Tommy Tremble was sidelined for four games near midseason (5.0 targets and 10.9 fantasy points per game), but the rookie was limited to a situational role in the 11 games Tremble was active (2.0 targets and 2.6 PPG). Sanders will be a candidate for more work in his second season, but he's still very young (22) and will continue to share work with Tremble. The 2024 fourth-round pick is only worth a late flier in deeper leagues."

"Pineiro was the only player for the 49ers to make an impact on the box score after scoring his team's only points in a forgettable offensive showing Saturday. The 29-year-old took over for released kicker Jake Moody in Week 2 of the regular season and never looked back, nailing all but one of his 29 FGA with the only miss coming from 50-plus yards out. "Dobbins signed with Denver in June. After struggling with injuries throughout most of his first four NFL seasons, Dobbins was handed the keys to the Chargers' backfield last season. He ran well (4.6 YPC, 1.9 YAC) but struggled as a receiver (his 3.8 YPT ranked 38th among 39 qualified RBs) and was an inconsistent fantasy producer (15-plus points seven times, but below 11 in the other six games). Dobbins missed four games (he's yet to play a full season), but he still managed 1,058 yards and nine TDs. He's now 26 years old and is expected to team up with second-round rookie RJ Harvey. The two very well could split carries, with Harvey taking the lead in passing situations. Dobbins is unlikely to see quite the volume he enjoyed in Los Angeles, but he'll have a respectable role in an ascending Denver offense. He's a fine mid-to-late-round target."

"According to Tomasson, the Broncos are still complementing the next steps for Dobbins, who was recently sent in for a second medical opinion on the injury he suffered on an apparent hip-drop tackle in the third quarter of the Week 10 win. Though the Broncos have a longer turnaround than normal in advance of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Dobbins looks to be at significant risk of being sidelined for the first time all season. Until the Broncos solidify an estimated timeline for Dobbins' return from the injury, any decision on a potential IR stint for the running back will be put on hold. Rookie RJ Harvey is the next man up for touches and snaps out of the Denver backfield and should be considered worthy of at least a cursory pickup in shallower leagues where he's still available while Dobbins' status is muddled."
